We always try to find a local gem on our travels, so found Silos online & decided to try it. It looks like a C-Store on exterior. The 'cafe' is on one side of building & a liquor store (I think) on the other. We were greeted promptly & menu is on a board on wall. We ordered while starring at it. I ordered a 2 piece fish plate. & husband had a grill cheese with tots. There were no prices posted anywhere, except a slice of pie was 4.50. My fish came with cold slaw & crinkle fries. Food was served hot & quickly& with kindness. My pieces of fish were small, but it was all fine for lunch. We both just drank water with our meal. Our meal was right under $20. This is a small local place we enjoyed our trip thru Arkansas.

Local diner, off the beaten path. Also doubles as a C-store with bait shop. The staff and service could not have been any better! Very friendly folks!! I ordered a cold cut turkey sandwich that came on very fresh bread with lettuce and tomato. My husband ordered their special of gumbo and cornbread and said it was wonderful! With a tea and a water, Bill was $15. Food was served quickly. Don’t be put off by the windows with bars as it used to be a sporting goods store with guns and ammo. Inside is good food and very friendly staff!

This place kicks it old school being a combination of a convenience store and bait shop. To the right when you enter is a kitchen counter. In the morning, you can get bacon or sausage biscuits or sausage biscuits gravy.Immediately. Eggs, omelettes and pancakes are cooked to order. The cooks are quick. A cheese omelette with toast and coffee cost around seven dollars.
